The Flower-Carousel

More than 10,000 individual parts

After more than 2 1/2 years of work by stone cutters, engravers, goldsmiths and enamellers, we completed this top creation in 1997, with more than 10,000 individual parts. The staircase in Jade, the cashier's box in Amethyst and with Aquamarine, rock crystal quartz, Mother of Pearl, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, 1,764 diamonds and 1,283 flowers made of Tourmaline, Aquamarine, Amethyst, Citrine, rock crystal quartz, Cascolong, Turquoise, Rose quartz, blue Agate, yellow Agate, Carnelian, Opal and 155 leaves in Jade. 12 hand-woven flower baskets. At the tip of the roof was a large round Emerald cabochon, which could be exchanged for a woven flower basket with blooms.

The base contains complete electronics with rotation and various lighting, 2 handmade music cylinders — one with 3 pieces of music by Tchaikovsky and one with 3 different Viennese waltzes.
